Pure optimism or positivity has to have a counterbalance, as with any other characteristic. Otherwise, we can come off as delusional or dismissive, and, in general, out of touch with reality when operating at the extremes.
I love the word pragmatic because it reminds me that all things must be practically distilled and harmonized; relatable to others.
